How the 100KB compressor works

Choose one JPG or drop it on the tool. It searches for a high JPG quality that fits within 100KB (102,400 bytes). If reducing quality is not enough, it reduces the image dimensions and tries again. The result shows its pixel dimensions and file size before download.

If the original JPG is already 100KB or less, you can download an unchanged copy. Compression may remove fine detail, especially in photos with text or complex patterns. A 100KB limit may require a noticeably smaller image. Everything runs in your browser; the photo is not sent to a server.
