How to resize or compress an image online

Choose your images, set a size and download the results.

Choose JPG, PNG or WebP images, or drop them on the tool. This online image resizer and compressor handles up to 20 photos at once. Each file can be up to 25MB. Processing happens in your browser, so your images are not uploaded.

Pixels, percentage and bulk image resizing

Enter a width and height in pixels, or scale each image by a percentage. With Keep aspect ratio on, the dimensions form a maximum-size box: each image fits inside it without being stretched. Turn it off to set exact width and height. Do not enlarge small images prevents a smaller photo from being scaled up. Select Estimate output size to check the first image before resizing; in a batch, each image may produce a different file size. For a batch, the same settings are applied to every image; choose individual downloads or a ZIP.

Resize an image in cm

Choose Centimetres and enter the intended width, height and resolution in pixels per inch (PPI). The tool converts cm to pixel dimensions using pixels = cm ÷ 2.54 × PPI. For example, 5 cm at 300 PPI is about 591 pixels. The downloaded image does not have a print-size or DPI metadata setting, so set the same print resolution in your printing software.

Compress an image to a target KB

To use it as an image compressor, choose File size (KB) and enter a maximum. This mode saves a JPG, lowers its quality first and, only if needed, reduces its pixel dimensions until it fits. Transparent areas become white. Some detail may be lost at a small target size. A JPG already under the limit is kept as-is. Need a specific JPG limit? Use Compress JPG to 50KB or Compress JPG to 100KB.

File formats and quality

For pixel, percentage and cm resizing, save in the original format or choose JPG, PNG or WebP. JPG cannot keep transparency; transparent pixels are filled white. PNG can be larger than the original even when its dimensions shrink. Animated images and SVG are not supported. Resizing upward creates more pixels but cannot recover detail that was not in the original.
