Merge JPG to PDF

Combine JPG images into one PDF. Each image becomes a page, in the order you choose. JPG photos go into the PDF as they are, so no quality is lost, and nothing is uploaded.

A4, Letter or image size, up to 100 pages, no upload

Drop JPG images here

Or choose .jpg or .jpeg files; PNG and WebP work too. Up to 100 images, 50 MB each.

How to merge JPG files into a PDF

Drop your .jpg or .jpeg files onto the box, or choose them from your device. They’re listed by file name; use the arrows to change the order of the pages, and Add more images to bring in more. Pick the page size, then press Merge into PDF and download the PDF.

Page size, orientation and margins

A4 and Letter are paper sizes for printing and for upload forms; each image is scaled to fill the page inside the margins, and centered. With Automatic orientation, wide images get landscape pages and tall ones portrait pages. Small margins are half an inch (13 mm) and Large margins an inch (25 mm). Same as image makes each page exactly the size of its image, at 96 pixels per inch, with no white border.

No quality lost

JPG images are placed in the PDF unchanged, with the same pixels and the same file data, so the PDF is about as large as the images together. To make it smaller for an upload limit, run it through Compress PDF afterwards. PNG and WebP images, and JPGs in the CMYK colors some printers use, are saved as high-quality JPG before they go in.

Scans, receipts and phone photos

Merging is a quick way to make one PDF from photos of a document’s pages, receipts for an expense claim, or scans for a job or visa application. Phone photos are turned the right way up using their orientation tag. To combine several images into one image, without pages, use Merge JPG.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge JPG files into one PDF? Choose the JPG files, put them in the order you want the pages, pick a page size and press Merge into PDF. Each image becomes one page of the PDF.

Will the PDF be smaller than my images? No, it’s about the same size, because the JPG data goes in unchanged. To shrink it, use Compress PDF, which can turn each page into a smaller JPEG.

Are my images uploaded? No. Your browser reads and merges the images on your device, and nothing is sent to a server, so it’s safe for private photos, IDs and documents.
