Merge JPG

Combine JPG files into one image or one PDF. Choose the photos, put them in order, and merge them top to bottom, side by side or in a grid. It runs in this browser, so your images are never uploaded.

Or choose .jpg or .jpeg files; PNG and WebP work too. Up to 100 images, 50 MB each.

How to merge JPG files

Drop your .jpg or .jpeg files onto the box, or choose them from your device. They’re listed by file name, so IMG_2.jpg comes before IMG_10.jpg; use the arrows to change the order, and Add more images to bring in more. Pick One JPG image or PDF under Merge into, then press the merge button and download the result.

Top to bottom, side by side or a grid

Top to bottom stacks the images into one long image, like a screenshot of a long chat or web page. Side by side puts them in a row, for a before-and-after picture. Grid makes rows of 2, 3 or 4 images, for a collage or a contact sheet. With Same size, every image is scaled to the width of the narrowest one (or, side by side, the height of the lowest one), so nothing is enlarged and nothing looks blurry. Original sizes keeps each image’s own size and fills the space around smaller ones with the background color.

Quality and size

The merged image is saved as a new JPG at the quality you choose. Balanced looks like the originals and keeps the file small. Browsers can’t make an image larger than 16,384 pixels on a side or 50 megapixels in total, so a very long merge is made smaller to fit, and the page says so. To keep every pixel of every photo, merge them into a PDF instead: each JPG goes into the PDF unchanged.

Merge JPG to PDF

Choose PDF to put each image on its own page, in the order of the list. The Merge JPG to PDF page explains the page size, orientation and margin options.

JPG, JPEG and other formats

JPG and JPEG are the same format with two spellings of the file extension, so .jpg and .jpeg files merge together, and the result opens anywhere either one does. PNG and WebP images can be added too. Phone photos are turned the right way up using their orientation tag, and iPhone photos arrive as JPG when you choose them from the photo library.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free to merge JPG files here? Yes. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. You can merge up to 100 images at a time, 50 MB each.

Can I merge JPG to JPEG? Yes. They’re the same format, so merging JPG files gives you a JPEG too; only the extension is spelled differently. The merged file is saved as .jpg, which opens in every app that opens .jpeg.

Are my images uploaded? No. Your browser reads and merges the images on your device, and nothing is sent to a server, so it’s safe for private photos, IDs and documents.
